(In accordance with The Tenant Fees Act 2019)

The following are permitted payments which we may request from you:

a)     The rent
b)     A tenancy deposit (to secure the performance of the tenancy) equal to one month’s rent.
c)     Payment for a relevant default which means :
the loss of a key or other security device giving access to, the housing to which the tenancy relates, or a failure to make a payment of rent in full before the end of a period of 14 days beginning with the date(“the due date”) on which the payment is required to be made in accordance with the tenancy agreement
d)     A payment on variation, assignment or novation of the tenancy when requested by the tenant, capped at £50, or reasonable costs incurred if higher
e)     A payment in consideration of the termination of a tenancy when at the tenants request and if provided for in the tenancy agreement
f)     A payment for or in connection with the provision of a utility if the tenancy agreement requires the payment to be made
g)     A payment to a billing authority in respect of Council Tax
h)     A payment to the British Broadcasting Corporation in respect of a Television Licence if the tenancy agreement requires the payment to be made
i)     A payment for or in connection with the provision of a communication service if the tenancy agreement requires the payment to be made

When seeking to rent a property through us you will not be required to make any upfront payments whilst you are being referenced.

If you are offered the property you will then be required to pay a deposit equal to one month’s rent together with the first month’s rent, both of which will need to be paid seven days prior to the commencement of the tenancy.
